M.S., New York University
B.S., State University of New York at Fredonia

Arien Rozelle joined St. John Fisher College in 2014, teaching courses in the media management program, including: Introduction to Public Relations, PR Case Studies, Advanced PR Writing, Advanced PR Campaigns, and more. Many of her classes require students to take on real clients—some as big as the City of Rochester—allowing students to polish their PR skills before they enter the workforce.

As a public relations professor, Rozelle leads by example through engaging lectures and real-world applications of course content based on her own experiences and enthusiasm for field, motivating students and sparking excitement for their future careers. She is the adviser to Fisher’s student-run public relations firm, The PRIMA Group, and the College’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Additionally, she has provided students with opportunities to attend regional and national PRSSA conferences.

Rozelle has launched exciting programming such as the "Meet the Media" series, an interactive panel discussion about the relationship between public relations and journalism featuring some of the most recognizable names in the Rochester media landscape.

A native of the beautiful Finger Lakes region, Rozelle spent over a decade living and working in New York City, and has landed clients in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Huffington Post, WNYC, and countless other media outlets.
